Why a new website for AMERICAN MADE products?

In the summer of 2007, I purchased a log cabin in the mountains outside of St. George , Utah. The best part was the wrap around porch, and I wanted a swing. Three Big Box stores produced the same results, cheap, inferior, questionable load ratings, and all made in China. That pushed me over-the-edge. I went online , and searched eBay for porch swings with dozens of listings. The list shrunk to about 8 when I added, “Made in USA”.

Because I was willing to wait a few days for shipment, and ordered it from the convenience of my desk in my home, I received a genuine USA Made work of art, made by a family in Louisiana. Writing for SHELTER MAGAZINE at the time, I wrote an article about the purchase and forwarded it to Alice Brooks. Her response was published alongside my article with her shared passion that America needs to buy from America. Mom ‘n Pop Businesses built this country. The entrepreneurial spirit was the spine that made this country stand tall.

I’m not going to editorialize here, but It doesn’t take a Rhodes Scholar to figure out that our current administration, the Congress, or the Senate have NOT a clue on how to repair our economy. I believe we have to go around them. WE go around them by BUYING BACK AMERICA. Buying consumer products made with American sweat. Gettin’ America Back In Business by committing again to buy products from our neighbors.

This is how USAonly.US was “Hatched”. It was born from my passion to see the greatest nation on the planet regain a vibrant economy and stop flushing our money down the Yangtze River.

It is my hope that this site will link consumers and manufacturers arm-in-arm across the country. This is no small undertaking and will change and expand daily.

May God Not Withdraw His Blessings from U.S. ,
