Specialty Meats & Gourmet, a division of Venison America, is a family owned company located in Hudson, WI, an eastern suburb of the Twin Cities Metro area of St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN. We have built a solid reputation as a high quality, customer focused source for specialty meat and gourmet items served in some of the finest restaurants throughout the nation.
No order is too small, and no request for product is too crazy. Our job is to help you find what you need whether you are a professional chef or a beginning home cook. We will provide you an appropriate quantity of what you need when you need it and at a fair price.
Our founding 18 years ago by a dedicated group of Fallow deer farmers gave Specialty Meats & Gourmet a solid foundation built on sound business ethics and hard work. Over the years, our customers have learned that 100% satisfaction guarantee is synonymous with Venison America. If you are not happy with our products or performance you do not pay. It’s as simple as that. We continue to work very hard to maintain and improve on our 99.5% customer satisfaction rating.
We deal only with the smaller, specialty suppliers in the business. Our suppliers include individual farmers and smaller distributors. We specialize in products that are not usually found in grocery outlets or your average restaurant. Instead, our products are chosen for their distinctively unique features that insure the highest quality and value for the consumer.
Although game meats remain a specialty, we sell more beef, pork and chicken than anything else. Our product line is a direct result of our response to our customer desires. 11 years ago we sold only Fallow Venison. Today, we sell everything from Antelope to Zebra. We expanded because our customers asked us to. |

Disappointed in where we are in the world today. We put ourselves here in one way or another and we seem to never listen - sort of like my 12 year old. Will we ever learn? The means of the few do not out weigh the needs of the many! |
