Thoughts on America:
As a whole there is no doubt that America is best, but in the past 13 years I have dealt with several American companies that should not be in business. Many of them have forgotten about good, old-fashioned customer service. It's all about that moment when you're faced with making a decision that could cost you money, pride or both. It's about doing what's right no matter how much it hurts. It's about saying your sorry when you may not feel as though you've done anything wrong. It's about voluntarily following up with a customer to make certain that they are happy instead of being happy that they didn't call back. It's about providing a phone number, answering the phone and being available to your customers. It's about taking pride in what you make and standing behind it with a guarantee that you also take pride in offering. I could go on! Can you tell I've had some bad experiences? I've had many good ones as well but they're less fun to talk about! :) |
